Pink's sister Rosie

We are all exhausted, but thankful to have had such a wonderful weekend at the Greater Cincinnati Weimaraner Club's Specialty Shows and AKC Scent Work Trials.
Rosey will be 10 years old in a few weeks, so I entered her in the Veteran Sweepstakes at the Specialty show. She really enjoys being in the ring; her tail was up and wagging, and she still moves beautifully. Unfortunately, my handling skills never improved, but she won Best in Veterans Sweepstakes in the first show and the videos are below. Thank you to
Pat Coleman Doty
for judging for us!
Rosey also earned her Container Novice Title with a blistering 00:00:05:43 second 1st place, 2nd and 4th place finishes in Exterior Advanced, and a 2nd place in Novice Buried.
Cooper did an awesome job as a Dog in White/Demo Dog in Interior, Exterior, and Container Novice classes, plus earned his Advanced Interior title in the "murder scene" room created for a little variation on the Roberts Centre's plain banquet room tables and chairs. A special thank you to our Judges
Debbie Douglas Thurston
and
Cheryl Hedge
!
There is still paperwork to finish, emails to send, cars to empty out, items to clean and store, laundry to do, and an RV to put back together and take to storage, but for now, we are just enjoying our rainy down day.
